Colt Romford, Essex

This project involved installation of telecommunications primary duct over a distance of 11 km. Cable pulling, turning and jointing chambers were installed along the route for cable installation and maintenance purposes. This project was executed by 4 of our team members for our client, SSE.

Since 2012

MBS Construction were responsible for the excavation and installation of approximately 11 kms of 1W 96mm and 1W 96mm sub ducted OD uPVC telecommunications primary duct in the public highway whether footway, carriageway or verge for the provision of a fibre optic cable feed.

Cable pulling, turning and jointing chambers were installed along the route for cable installation and maintenance purposes at a maximum 485m spacing on the Public Highway. Joint Bays were constructed every 1900m.
